About The Casa de Solana Wedding Venue

21 Aviles Street St. Augustine, FL 32084

Casa de Solana Bed and Breakfast is a beautiful, historic establishment in St. Augustine with a long history of hospitality. The original owner, Don Manuel Lorenzo Solana, was one of the original families of Spanish settlers in St. Augustine, and he built the original house on the property around 1763. He, his wife, and their 11 children opened their home to Native Americans, injured soldiers, and travelers in need of a place to rest. Centuries later, the 10-bedroom inn still hosts visitors from all over the world!

The inn is located in the seventh-oldest house on the oldest street in St. Augustine, Aviles Street. It’s a lovely blend of old architecture, vintage decor, and modern amenities. Guests can enjoy close proximity to some of St. Augustine’s best restaurants, galleries, museums, state parks, and other historic attractions. Each of their 10 rooms is uniquely decorated, and every stay includes a delicious warm breakfast.

Details of the Grounds

Casa de Solana is a lovely place for a quaint wedding that takes advantage of the beautiful gardens and architecture of the bed and breakfast. A lovely courtyard is a sweet spot for a tender ceremony surrounded by your closest friends and family. You can also opt to say “I do” on the beach, with your toes in the sand and the beautiful blue water behind you. Casa de Solana doesn’t have a large gathering space. But it provides lovely ceremonies and small cocktail hours before moving on to a reception in town or offsite.

Photography Opportunities

One of the biggest draws of Casa de Solana is just how picturesque it is. The gorgeous courtyard overflows with beautiful landscaping perfectly featured in photos. Nearby, the beach is an incredible place to take effortlessly beautiful pictures. Aviles Street’s classic cobblestones and historic architecture are lovely for quintessentially St. Augustine portraits. You may even catch a horse-drawn carriage strolling past!
